Automotive Technology

Interested in a fast paced, challenging career working on highly sophisticated computer controlled vehicles?  Interested in jumpstarting that career by enrolling in college as a junior in high school?  This is the place to start any automotive related career.  The Automotive Service Technology program offers nationally accredited (NATEF/ASE) training and direct Mid-Michigan Community College credit in our duel enrollment program.  A four semester rotation will allow opportunities for students to experience many of the specific areas of certification:  brakes and system repair, suspension and alignment, electrical theory, diagnosis and repair, engine operation and repair, drive trains, engine performance as well as heating and air conditioning systems.  Training involves classroom instruction as well as hands on experience on our live production service floor.  Students will have the opportunity to attain state and national mechanic certifications as well as competing for various scholarships through our active youth club.  Our motivated students are graduating high school with 23.5 college credits. Just a few credits short of a one year College Certificate of Achievement and well on their way to an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or Bachelor Degree in Automotive Engineering Technology.
