Professions in Education

Professions in Education is an instructional program that focuses on childhood growth and development while preparing students for careers in early childhood education.  The program operates Kid's World Preschool in which the students work directly with children ages three to five years old in a laboratory setting.  Students learn age appropriate activities and behaviors for preschool age children. The students will have the opportunity to explore career choices through work experience at local schools and daycare centers. Students will have the choice to explore infancy through school age programs.  The students will be certified in C.P.R. and first aid and will have the opportunity to receive articulated credits from local colleges and universities.
